Other than talking about wonderful growth opportunities in India, China, security and government, he suggested the Canadian government needs to do more to support R&D activity in Canada. He didn't provide specifics about what more needs to be done but it was pretty clear Nortel wants to squeeze as a good a deal as it can as it considers which of its 30 R&D facilities to keep.
