Try this: http://www.technorati.com/live/top100.html Unfortunately Om Malik isn't in the top 100, but it includes a lot of political blogs too, and there are the familiar suspects. Also, bloggers essentially rate blogs by linking to them. By the way, you probably don't see a lot of comments because of the bother of registering.
