It is interesting to point out that while Vonage is not yet "formally" available in Canada, I have some friends in Ottawa that have been using the service for quite sometime (with a US number/address from a relative).
Another interesting factor to consider is the competition that all these services will have with players that have already been in the marketplace for quite sometime and offer really dirt-cheap LD via toll bypass (i.e. by using IP networks at the core). Even if the edge is not IP, users can always dial a local access number with a password and then enter a code before getting LD access.
But Primus did beat out the competition in bragging rights to be the first one to enter the market.
