Excellent rebuttals Taylan and Mathew. I just got back from Chapter's where this headline caught my attention, and the article itself really got on my nerves, so I was really happy to read some sane comments here. It's so cliche: "Don't use the Internet. Have a real conversation", "Don't watch TV. Read a book". What if I want to use the Internet? Or, God forbid, watch TV? Basically, his argument for why the Internet sucks, is that real life is better. This is circular logic. It's not proof that something sucks because you *think* something else exists that's better. Then, government would suck, school would suck, technology sucks, etc.... And who said the Internet wasn't real? You see, this is why the Internet doesn't suck. Doing what we're doing right now. Sharing our opinions and discussing issues in an open way. Geez, Steve, get a grip.
