I used to argue with people that this bubble was different, and in many ways I think that it is. There are a lot of 2.0 companies out there doing things different (i.e. NOT the 31st photo sharing company), and despite some of the big press, a lot of them are doing it without funding. Still, some of these investments make you wonder if the world will never learn. There are only so many Yahoo's that can buy companies like Flickr, and many of these sites do not have revenue models that justify the kinds of valuations we are seeing.
