Re: Press Release 2.0?
by Anonymous
I too am intrigued by the discussion about innovative ways to pump life into tired press releases. A new format may help liven things up a bit. But your second point is more salient. These days, it is very easy to become enamored with blogs, podcasts, wikis and the like. Blinded by technology and new formats, we need to keep the reader, viewer or listener in mind. Why should he or she care? What is in it for him and her? Blogs are intriguing, but give me a compelling story line -- crisply told. Novelty + narrative = coverage
