I'm testing these very waters at the moment. I emailed three local Conservative MPs to ask about their views on gay marriage. I indicate that I may publish their response to my 'personal website'. Prime Minister Harper is rumoured to have put a gag on all media comments on the subject. Do I qualify as a journalist, a constituent or both?
