I agree with Chris, I think it's due to the fact that "regular" people lost a lot of money during the tech boom. The big problem with the bubble in the 1990's was that people with no knowledge of what was going on were investing. Trading stocks over the internet was a new thing and people invested in crazy companies. This time around it's much more methodical. Great post btw.
