Since when is Gmail a mere "me-too" product? Nearly 2 years after launch it still decisively beats Yahoo Mail and Hotmail in (1) free storage, (2) search features, (3) speed of operation, (4) use of multi-dimensional labeling system, (5) cleanliness of user interface / lack of annoying graphic ads, (6) conversation view of emails, and now (7) integration with an instant messenging client.
