+1 on keeping the timeline tight. NV this year was actually only 2 days, but obviously that was trickier to organize than the 1 day conference the first year. +1 also on a university setting--that makes all the difference in price. Hotels will rob you blind for conference facilities. If you'd like me to lay out the budget for NV for you, I'll be happy to.
