i think technorati has two options to remain viable: 1. it aligns itself with some other blog service providers such as feedemon, feedburner or six apart to create a one stop shopping place where they can cross-pollinate each other's businesses or 2. it goes down the GYM M&A path. frankly, i just don't see a compelling enough business model for technorati to remain independent. i could be wrong. maybe they are signing big corporate deals but i don't see any evidence they are doing it. and as the blog gets better, their server costs must be on the rise.
