Re: Canadian Carriers Attack Net Neutrality
by len
I am sorry but to me the Carriers have learned their marketing techniques from corner drug dealers. Get you hooked, drive away any alternatives and then raise the prices. Because it doesnt matter where in the chain you raise prices the end-user pays. They have set things up so they have an effective monopoly on broadband and because they made mistake through being too proud to develop new markets, their profits should be protected, or they will pick their cards and go home. They still think the world is 20 years ago, now is the time of virtual companies, where new businesses can develop and grow quickly, but they disappear just as fast if they are complacent, regardless of how long they have been around. They have many ways to improve service and make money, but instead they want the rules changed to guarantee their profit. The game of monopoly is over, this is like a high stakes poker game, you play the cards you are dealt, and dont whine when you make a mistake.
