I agree, but what I'm saying is that you can look at your referrer list and see what's legit and what's not. If you actually tabulate hits from legit referrers and they exceed stats from those other stat services, then you know there's something wrong with their readings. For example, if I know the Star has referred say, 500 people, then I can question a figure from Google that says I only got 250 unique visitors.
