I know how you feel Mark -- I've tried most of those too (and in some cases have been less than impressed, such as with Rollyo and Flock). Every now and then comes a great app though, like Wordpress -- which I use for www.mathewingram.com/work (although I use the server version which I run at home, not the Web-based version) and also Netvibes, which is my new home page/RSS reader of choice and everything Windows Live is not.
