Re: Katrina's Ongoing Tragedy
by
Anonymous
What I've seen is authorities trying to do their jobs, putting their lives at risk, only to have a bunch of idiots on the ground shoot at them. Is this what the National Rifle Association means when it says American's have the right to bear arms? What it means is anarchy -- in a state of crisis, it assures that those with the means will look after themselves at the expense of the safety and welfare of others. The only difference between New Orleans and Iraq is that American authorities don't want to shoot back at their own citizens for fear of being caught on CNN, thus hindering the rescue effort.
