Not a given Bagnell got it wrong. Daischendt was eventually going to come out with a denial one way or another. No way of knowing the truth - peraps Nortel did not refute the article becuase it contained more than a shred of truth. I also note that he did not exactly receive a bunch of ringing endorsements for his possible residence somewhere other than the lunatic fringe.
