Google Launches New Video Search

It has taken awhile following the $1.6-billion purchase of YouTube but Google has a launched a new video search tool. When your search is completed, you can rate the video, share it, and watch related videos. Google Video covers videos from a wide variety of sites, including Metacafe, iFilm, Grouper, Yahoo Video, MySpace, Break.com, Daily Motion, Vimeo, Veoh, AOL Video, Jumpcut, Revver, Guba and BBC - although the predominant result is, surprise, surprise, YouTube. Veoh, by the way, raised $26-million in venture capital recently.

I'm always impressed of Googles search ideas. They think much faster then others.

great article, there are many new web 2.0 video sharing sites out there, new ones are popping up daily, one i like the most motiono and sevenload, here's a sample video on sevenload

Metacafe is a great video sharing web site similar to Youtube and Motiono, however the unique thing about metacafe is they have figured a way to pay their video producers, but the bigger question is at what price... Overall though, metacafe is a very nice video sharing web site same for Motiono and Youtube as well as Google Video.
