Armed with brand new name - Talking Tech - for our weekly podcast, we're
introducing a bunch of cool bells and whistles. Among them a new logo. Rather
than arbitrarily pick one ourselves, Kevin and I want yours feedback about four
different designs. Let us know what you think. By the way, the people behind the
new and improving podcast are David Jones and Ed Lee from
Fleishman-Hillard, and Neil Johnson and Steve Coppola from iStudio. Keep in mind, this is a work in
progress project. If you're looking for our first new and improved podcast (complete with show notes, you can find it here.) For more details on other features on the horizon for the podcast, check out David Jones' post.

I like the double T. The ping-pong balls are decent as well. The other options, however, are uninspired and lame.
Re: Talking Tech Logo Candidates
I love the TT (top right) the most it looks similar to a logo from TV, but can't think of it. Second is the PacMan. All are really good.

I like the thumbs - they're very iPod/Web 2.0.

IANAD but the "pacmanesque" is the only one to pass the "could you still recognized it as a 32x32 pixel icon?" test.. it's also more distinctive, but it needs a second pass for refinements.

I like either the pacman one, or the two T's.

Double T is the most professional looking. I'd personally go with that one.

Thumbs up on the thumbs - if that's what you're doing. Otherwise the T's.

Pacman - it's more fun, good colours for branding throughout.
Re: Talking Tech Logo Candidates
At full size, the two Ts works quite well. It's still okay at iPod size, but obviously the details are lost. Has a nice professional look. I wouldn't buy the T-shirt, but might consider a coffee mug of that one...
The first logo, "alking ech", has some potential, but my Estonian is rusty, so I can't translate it for you. ;-) Re: Talking Tech Logo Candidates

Mark,
I would vote for the thumbs up (down) if that reflects what your podcast will be doing or the pacman. My least fav is the double T. Re: Talking Tech Logo Candidates

Stick a dpolls.com poll on here and let people vote on their choice of logo - easy way to get feedback. I like the thumbs.

My definite thumbs up for the hands logo with its dominant and vivid black and (mesh-like) green logo. You might want to rethink the reverse white for your names, though, as they are overshadowed. (Is the double-T logo reminiscent of TV Mission Impossible or Get Smart?! Something from that classic era, anyhow.) Judy Gombita
