The Scourge of Trackback Spam

With Blogware upgrading its anti-spam technology recently, the amount of comment spam on my blog has tumbled dramatically In its place, however, is trackback spam. Every day, I've got to manually prune dozens of items, which means some legitimate trackbacks probably get caught up in the process. Is there anything that can be done to combat the scourge of trackback spam?

Hi Mark and Stuart,

We have some items in the works to fight trackback spam in both our Operations groups and in Development.

Things will get better at the end of this week.

That's great Siobhan. Even a way to kill it via email, similar to what you can do with comments when you receive the notification, would be good.

The work you have done on controlling and managing comment spam has been great.
